How to avoid burn out

Burnout is very real in the workplace. With smart technology, people are staying more connected to their work and as a result, they get more stressed. It leads to burnout. And burnout, in the long run, leads to weight gain and lost productivity.

So here’s what to do to avoid it.

Work life balance

Everyone should have a work-life balance. Make a timetable and stick to it. Its what makes us human. Make sure that you take the time to enjoy family life or that run in nature.

If you think your boss is giving you too much, then you should say something. It is after all your life and health and happiness!


I love my Friday happy hours at new places. I just love unwinding whilst trying out wine or two. I also love to eat out too once in a while

Don’t study or work all the time

Take some time out to enjoy things. Walk around in nature and not take the tram all the time.

Oh and don’t take your work home. Leave it in the office

Sleep well

When we don’t get enough sleep you stress out about things and it gets to burnout. We need about 7-8 hours of sleep a night. When you don’t sleep you don’t function as well.
