So I found out that us women lose a lot more iron whilst doing triathlon training. I had my period this week and was given these Swisse Ultraboost tablets which prompted me to find out.
We lose it when we sweat a lot outdoors and during our periods. The foot strike theory also causes us to lose some.
Then I did 22km twice this week and 20km on Friday.
My Garmin stopped working and I tried to get it to track the kms on Sunday’s long run. I managed to, however, do 21km and I just followed all the km markers on the tracks. Here I managed to get up to 165 rpm that day. I ran from Flinders St station via Port Melbourne, St Kilda, Point Ormond and then back to the city.
At least I did not cough and I tried the mango nectar. It was sweet but ok.
It was a sunny but windy day.
At home I restored all factory settings and now it is working fine.
